Alina Jacobs on "Surveillance and Knowledge. On the Epistemic Dimension of State Control"

At the 2nd SWIP Doctoral Workshop for FLINTA, held at Europa-Universität Flensburg on 27 and 28 November, Alina Jacobs will present her dissertation project “Surveillance and Knowledge: On the Epistemic Dimension of State Control”. The talk examines to what extent state mass surveillance can be understood as an epistemic infrastructure and how it affects the epistemic autonomy of those under surveillance.
