CompPhil²MMAE talks at the ISUS 2024

The talks by Cyriak Schmitz (“What is the relation between the unified theory and the triple theory?”) and by Christian Seidel (“Sidgwickian Moral Theorizing: on the Teleological Relation between Principles and Methods”) have been accepted for the 17th Conference of the International Society for Utilitarian Studies (ISUS).

The conference will take place in London from June 18-21, 2024 to mark the 150th anniversary of the publication of Henry Sidgwick’s The Methods of Ethics.

Christoph Schmidt-Petri, Michael Schefczyk and Lilly Osburg are other members of the Department of Philosophy who will be speaking at the conference.
